Woods Rogers President Elected President of the Virginia Bar Association Labor Relations & Employment Law Section

Roanoke, VA—February 13, 2008 – Thomas R. Bagby, President and Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Group at Woods Rogers, was elected President of the Virginia Bar Association Labor Relations and Employment Law Section.

The Labor Relations and Employment Law Section of The Virginia Bar Association was established in 1988. Each fall, the Section sponsors an Annual Conference on Labor Relations and Employment Law, now in its 32nd year. It also presents continuing legal education seminars at VBA Annual and Summer Meetings. As appropriate, the Section presents the Chair's Award to a member who has rendered dedicated service to the Section and its Council, and who has demonstrated a commitment to professionalism and training of labor and employment attorneys.
