On November 1, 2007 The Roanoker Magazine released their third bi-annual peer poll of the valley's top attorneys. After mailing approximately 670 ballots to area attorneys, the magazine compiled their list of over 50 top attorneys in 17 practice areas. At the very top of the list - the valleys number-one attorney was awarded to Woods Rogers' own Mr. William B. Poff. This is the third time Mr. Poff has received the honor of being the "Valley's Top Attorney".
