Woods Rogers PLC Recognized by Chambers & Partners: Poff, Jennings & Loftis listed as leading lawyers in litigation

Roanoke, VA—June 28, 2007

Chambers & Partners, publishers of the well-respected “Guides to the World’s Leading Lawyers,” has identified Woods Rogers PLC as one of Virginia’s leading firms for Litigation. The prestigious publication also singled out William Poff, James Jennings and Mark Loftis as leading individuals and the only Roanoke lawyers represented on the list for litigation.

Chambers & Partners referred to William Poff, as “the dean of litigation.” One interviewee stated Mr. Poff “is an outstanding lawyer in every regard.” Also recognized by Chambers & Partners, James Jennings has a solid standing among peers. According to interviewees, Mark Loftis, chair of the firm’s litigation section, “is a bright and excellent young attorney.” Mr. Loftis is new to the list this year, after receiving extremely positive market feedback.

In order to compile its rankings, Chambers & Partners conducts thousands of interviews. About half of their interviews are with clients, while the balance is made up of opinions from colleagues and competitors.
