Woods Rogers PLC has announced the addition of Elizabeth Guilbert Perrow as a principal in the Roanoke office.
A trial lawyer practicing primarily in insurance defense and medical malpractice defense, Perrow has extensive experience representing health care providers, and has successfully defended physicians, nurses and hospitals.
Perrow is a graduate of Lynchburg College and earned her law degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was recognized by the National Association of Women Lawyers as the Outstanding Woman Law Graduate in her class.
She has tried jury cases in circuit courts and participated in numerous mediations. Perrow has lectured extensively on risk management issues and also is trained in Collaborative Process, a unique manner for the resolution of divorces.
Perrow serves on the boards of the Roanoke Bar Association and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. She received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for contributing more than 100 hours to various types of community service and legal organizations. Perrow was recognized by Virginia Lawyers Weekly for receiving one of the largest defense verdicts in 2007.
More recently, this year she received the Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the Roanoke Bar Association and was named one of Virginia’s Rising Stars by SuperLawyers Magazine.
