Michael Cole Named Principal

Woods Rogers PLC is pleased to announce that Michael A. Cole  has been named a principal of the Danville office.

Cole joined the firm in 2003 with extensive experience in many areas of civil litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury matters, business and commercial litigation and worker’s compensation. He has handled more than 30 jury trials and has successfully argued a variety of appellate matters in both state and federal appeals courts, including having written a brief filed with the United States Supreme Court.

The South Boston native returned to the area after 21 years of law practice in Atlanta. He was a founding member of Cole, Bryman & Clerke. Prior to that, Cole was an associate with Vincent, Choray, Taylor & Feil and Freeman & Hawkins, also in Atlanta.

He earned simultaneous bachelor’s degrees in government and economics from the University of Virginia, where he also received his law degree.
