Tax Group Update - IRS Issues Guidance on Small Business Health Care Tax Credit

On Monday, May 17, 2010, the IRS issued Notice 2010-44, providing guidance to small businesses that are eligible to claim a tax credit for employee health insurance coverage pursuant to new Section 45R of the Internal Revenue Code, part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (the new health care reform legislation).
