Agnis C. Chakravorty

Agnis C. Chakravorty is a principal in the firm. Agnis specializes in labor and employment law solely for management clients. Prior to Woods Rogers, Agnis was a principal at the Center for Employment Law, P.C.

Agnis is a member of the Labor and Employment sections of both the Virginia Bar Association and the American Bar Association, where he serves on The Developing Labor Law Subcommittee. He is also a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Roanoke Bar Association.  Agnis was the 1996 recipient of the Roanoke Valley Jaycees Outstanding Young Man Award and has been recognized for a number of years by Virginia Business Magazine as a "Legal Elite" in the field of Labor and Employment and is also listed in "Best Lawyers in America" and "Virginia Super Lawyers".

Agnis is a 1989 honor graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law, and a 1985 graduate of the College of William & Mary where he received a B.A. degree in Government and Religion.
