John P. Grove, III. began his legal career in Roanoke, Virginia in 1973 upon graduating from law school. A Roanoke native, John currently practices Domestic Relations and Family Law and serves as a Chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Domestic Relation Section Council. In addition to his domestic law practice John represents businesses, both public and private, as well as individual citizens. He is a member of Litigation, Family and Local Government Sections of the State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association’s Domestic, Business and Litigation Sections. John is also a member of the Family Law and State and Local Government Sections of the American Bar Association, the Roanoke Bar Association (President 1993-1994) and the South Carolina Bar Association. John attended the University of South, Sewanee, Tennessee and graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1967. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 1973 where he served on the Articles Staff of the South Carolina Law Review and as a Member of the School of Law Honor Council. John has been selected by Virginia Business magazine as one of its Legal Elite in the Family/Domestic Relations practice area.
