After graduating from Princeton University, Talfourd Kemper served as an officer in the U. S. Navy until 1962. He then attended law school at the University of Virginia, where he was Articles Editor of the Virginia Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. He joined the firm in 1965 and at different times has served in a number of capacities, including Managing Partner and Head of the Business Law Section. He has been named in “The Best Lawyers in America” in both Corporate Law and Real Estate Law for over twenty years.
