Joshua C. Wykle is an associate at Woods Rogers in the firm’s Corporate and Tax sections. Josh joined Woods Rogers in February 2008 after practicing tax law and estate planning in Charlottesville, Virginia. Josh received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 2006 and now focuses his practice on various aspects of tax planning, including drafting tax-sensitive trusts, formation of tax-exempt entities, detailing partnership and corporate acquisitions, and preparation of returns for fiduciaries, individuals, and estates.
While in law school, Josh had the opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Judge Paul M. Peatross, Jr. in the Circuit Court of Albemarle County, Virginia as well as perform an externship for the Honorable T. Michael Putnam, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Josh is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he served as a legislative intern in the Virginia General Assembly and was named a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. Prior to joining Woods Rogers, Josh practiced with the Charlottesville firm, Skeen Law Offices.
