Daniel Sarrell is an associate at Woods Rogers PLC in the firm’s Litigation Section. Daniel concentrates his practice on the defense of medical malpractice claims, commercial litigation and general litigation. He has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, to include first-chair jury trial experience, discovery, motions practice, depositions and mediations.

Daniel, a North Carolina native, graduated Valedictorian, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from North Carolina State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. As an undergraduate, Daniel received the Erika Fairchild Prize for most outstanding departmental honors thesis as well as the Phi Kappa Phi Outstanding Senior Award.

While in law school, Daniel served as a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Moot Court Board and the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board. The recipient of a Virginia Law Foundation Fellowship, Daniel worked at the Richmond Capital Defender’s Office between his first and second years of law school. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Discrimination at the University of Richmond School of Law. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2008.
