Daniel Sarrell is an associate at Woods Rogers PLC in the firm’s Litigation Section. Daniel, a North Carolina native, graduated Valedictorian, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from North Carolina State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. As an undergraduate, Daniel received the Erika Fairchild Prize for most outstanding departmental honors thesis as well as the Phi Kappa Phi Outstanding Senior Award.
While in law school, Daniel served as a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Moot Court Board and the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board. The recipient of a Virginia Law Foundation Fellowship, Daniel worked at the Richmond Capital Defender’s Office between his first and second years of law school. While in law school, Daniel received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Discrimination. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2008.
