Kimberly M. Lacy is an associate at Woods Rogers PLC in the firm’s Corporate and Business Law section and the Securities group. Kim’s practice focuses on the representation of closely-held and emerging growth companies in a wide variety of transactions, including financings, restructurings, corporate and LLC formations and entity conversions. Kim also has experience serving as counsel on transactions involving private placements, stock and asset sales, and mergers and acquisitions. She assists publicly held companies with corporate and SEC reporting matters and regulatory issues, and she has experience in negotiating and preparing executive employment, non-compete and severance agreements.
Kim graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. from Vanderbilt University in 2001, where she was a recipient of the Willis D. Hawley Peabody Award. She received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2005. Prior to joining Woods Rogers, Kim was the Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael C. Allen of Chesterfield Circuit Court and was an associate at LeClair Ryan.
