Woods Rogers’ attorney Beth Waller is now a Certified Information Privacy Professional with U.S. and European designations (CIPP-US and CIPP-E). Beth is chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice at Woods Rogers.

For more than 10 years, CIPP has been recognized as the global preeminent credential in the business of privacy. To obtain the CIPP credential, an individual must pass an exam focusing on global issues of privacy and data protection, including laws and regulations across jurisdictions; enforcement models; as well as legal requirements for storing and transferring data, among other essential privacy principles.

Woods Rogers’ President Dan Summerlin said, “This is a significant accomplishment for Beth and a great benefit to the firm’s clients who hold personal data including financial institutions, manufacturers, utilities, colleges and universities, and publicly traded companies.”
