Claire Gross works with the firm’s Business and Corporate, Trusts and Estates, and Tax practice groups. She focuses on estate and tax planning, corporate formation and conversion, and contract drafting. Claire works to secure favorable tax treatment in a range of situations including mergers and acquisitions, employee wages paid under the CARES Act, and estate administration.

Claire graduated from the University of Virginia and later earned her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. During law school, Claire had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Paul Black in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia. She also worked at a real estate and estate planning firm.

A Virginia native, Claire grew up splitting her time between Bath and Botetourt County. She is an avid outdoorswoman and spends her free time distance running, horseback riding, hiking in the high Rockies, and shooting recreationally.
