ROANOKE, Va. – Woods Rogers is pleased to announce J. Lee E. Osborne has assumed the role of president of the Roanoke Bar Association (RBA) for the 2018-2019 term. He will serve in this role until June 2019.

Lee Osborne focuses his practice on estate planning and trusts and estates administration, which often involves taxation and business planning and related transactions. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), which recognizes individual attorneys for distinguished contributions to the practice of estate planning, probate, and trust law. Currently, he serves as the Virginia State Chair for ACTEC.

The RBA was established to provide a forum for the promotion of professional excellence among members of the bar in the Roanoke area and to foster the development of community relationships between citizens and the membership. Its ongoing mission is to provide innovative and educational opportunities for members and to expand public awareness through the creation of long-term, professional relationships based upon integrity, fairness and respect.
