The Virginia Legislative Action Committee (VALAC) of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) recently appointed Vandeventer Black attorney, W. Thomas Chappell, to serve on its committee as a representative of the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of CAI.

"I am excited to be part of this great committee that includes so many experienced leaders in the community association industry who volunteer their time to advocate on behalf of community associations in the Commonwealth," said Chappell. Among the many essential functions of this role, providing accurate, timely, and reliable input to Virginia legislators will be crucial.
