Katherine "Kate" Lennon Joins WRVB's Norfolk Office

Recognition

Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black (WRVB) is pleased to welcome Katherine "Kate" Lennon as an associate in the Norfolk office.  She is joining the Litigation practice group. She joins the firm after over four years of hands-on civil litigation experience at another Norfolk firm, which took her across the Commonwealth in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate court levels.

Kate served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David W. Lannetti and Michelle J. Atkins in the Norfolk Circuit Court.  She went on to work for another Norfolk law firm where she gained significant experience in litigation and trial strategy.  Kate has taken numerous motions hearings and trials to successful outcomes in federal and state courts and has submitted extensive briefings in appellate and trial courts across the Commonwealth, all while keeping an eye out for prompt resolution of the matter for her clients.

Kate received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary.  While in law school, Kate served as a Legal Practice Fellow, Managing Editor of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal, Chair of the Student Division of the Institute of Bill of Rights Law, and Associate Justice on the Honor Council.  She also interned with the Honorable Roderick C. Young in the Richmond Federal Court and the Norfolk Public Defender’s Office.  Upon graduation, Kate was awarded the Legal Practice Scholar Award, Dean’s Certificate, and Law School Public Service Certificate.
