A Joint Woods Rogers and Healthcare Compliance Resources Learning Experience.

Speakers: Dudley F. Woody, Esq and Stephen Burt, BS, MFA

Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

This seminar will focus on the mechanics of the Virginia OSHA inspection, types of violations, effective affirmative defenses, how and when to contest citations and effective ways for you to avoid costly OSHA citations. In addition, we will also discuss the final rule on electronic tracking of workplace injuries and illnesses.

The purpose of this session is to enable the participants to survive an OSHA Inspection by developing and establishing an OSHA inspection game plan that can be easily activated when you get the call “there’s someone here from OSHA to see you!” Being prepared and knowing all of the various OSHA standards Virginia facilities must comply with – especially the changes to recordkeeping and reporting severe injuries – as well as having all written programs and training up to date – is critical to a good first impression and a successful OSHA inspection.
