Woods Rogers donated more than 200 toys to the Roanoke Rescue Mission Christmas Store this season. These toys will help families have gifts for each other on Christmas morning. For more than 75 years, the Roanoke Rescue Mission has provided support for individuals and families who need a roof over head, meals and much more.

Woods Rogers’ President Dan Summerlin said, “We were thrilled to be able to brighten the holiday season for many, many kids who are at the Mission during the holidays.”

Also this year, Woods Rogers supported the Rescue Mission’s Annual Drumstick Dash and commissioned custom holiday ornaments—given to Woods Rogers’ employees as gifts—from the Recovery Program. Each ornament was hand crafted in the shelter’s pottery studio where the learning art encourages and supports the progress of those working to overcome addiction.
