Roanoke, Va.—Three attorneys at Woods Rogers PLC have been named principals of the firm. Erin B. Ashwell focuses on appellate law, as well as civil litigation in state and federal courts. Erin joined Woods Rogers in 2010 having practiced previously in Washington DC.  She holds an A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. She sits on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Virginia.

Sandra T. Chinn-Gilstrap practices in the area of family and elder law, wills and estate planning, general corporate and real estate law. Sandra joined Woods Rogers in 2012 from her own private practice in Danville, which she managed for 17 years. She holds a B.A. with distinction from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Miami. Sandra is active in numerous state and local civic and legal organizations. She currently serves on the Virginia State Bar Professionalism Course Faculty, the Executive Committee of the Virginia State Bar Conference of Local Bar Leaders, and the boards of directors of the University of Virginia Club of Southern Virginia, and Smart Beginnings Danville-Pittsylvania.

Elizabeth Burgin Waller‘s practice ranges from representing corporations in litigation to defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice claims. Beth graduated magna cum laude from Hollins University. Prior to law school, she attended the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia, where she currently serves on the state advisory board. She earned her law degree from the William & Mary School of Law. Beth joined Woods Rogers in 2007.
