ROANOKE, Va.—Two attorneys at Woods Rogers PLC  have been named principals of the firm. Woods Rogers President Dan Summerlin said, “We are proud to have these attorneys move to the position of principal. Both Daniel and Patice started their careers with Woods Rogers  through our Summer and Fall clerkship programs, it has been a pleasure to watch them grow.”

Patice Holland participates in the Intellectual Property, Labor and Employment, and General Civil Litigation groups at Woods Rogers. Her practice ranges from transportation law (FELA, SAA, LIA), employment litigation defense, commercial and residential landlord/tenant law, to trademarks and patents, real estate disputes, general civil and commercial litigation, insurance defense, ERISA, labor/management relations, and human resources counseling and training. Patice also has experience litigating eminent domain cases and creditors’ rights and collections matters.

Daniel Sarrell focuses his practice on the defense of medical malpractice claims, commercial litigation, and general litigation. He has experience in civil litigation, including successful first- and second-chair jury trial experience in state and federal court.
