The Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC) honored area entrepreneurs, companies, teachers and students at its 18th annual awards gala on May 26, 2016.
For the second year, Woods Rogers sponsored and presented the CBIC Volunteer of the Year award. This year’s award went to Kim Wilkens, who won the 2015 CBIC Social Good Award, and currently acts as chair of CBIC’s annual Tech Tour for local students.
Nathan Evans, patent attorney in the Charlottesville office of Woods Rogers, said, “We’re honored to be a part of this important annual event, and we salute CBIC, as well as all of CBIC’s members, for fostering innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit in the region. Our entire firm sends a special congratulatory message to all of the winners recognized at the event, many of whom are firm clients.”
