Roanoke, Va.— Dylan R. Denslow and Elizabeth Barry Heddleston have joined Woods Rogers as full-time associates. Dylan will assist the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution section and Liz will complement the firm’s Healthcare group.

“Dylan and Liz were members of our 2014 summer associate class and we are thrilled to have them join our team” said Daniel C. Summerlin, President of Woods Rogers PLC.  “With their strong academic backgrounds and work ethic they will strengthen our associate ranks and be given an opportunity to work with different lawyers in a variety of areas while developing their own areas of interest.”

Dylan earned a B.S. from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law. During law school, he served on the editorial board for the Journal of Law and Technology. Liz earned a B.A. from Davidson College and a J.D. magna cum laude from William & Mary Law School. While attending William and Mary, she was a member of William & Mary Law Review and received the Legal Practice Scholar Award for excellence and honors received in legal research and writing, professional responsibility, and lawyering skills through the two-year legal practice program.

Liz and Dylan were summer associates in the Roanoke office of Woods Rogers in 2014.

Dylan explains what brought him to Woods Rogers, “I joined Woods Rogers not only due to the firm’s reputation for developing exceptional Virginia lawyers, but more importantly because of the quality of the people I have the pleasure to work and collaborate with each and every day.”

“I was drawn to Woods Rogers because of its great reputation in the community. The firm is the perfect size,” said Liz. “It has the resources of a large firm and the personal touch of a smaller firm. Plus, it’s a treat to see the Blue Ridge Mountains from my window every day.  I look forward to starting my legal career in Roanoke.”
