Phillip Harmon advises clients on cyber security and data privacy matters. As part of WRVB’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practice team, he helps businesses review and draft policies and procedures that reduce the risk of cyber incidents and comply with privacy regulations.

Phillip joined WRVB in 2022 after completing the firm’s summer associate program in 2021. He earned his J.D. from Washington & Lee School of Law. While in law school, he interned for the Office of the Federal Public Defender in the Western District of Virginia. He was awarded the Law Council Law Review Award in recognition of the best student note and the John W. Davis Prize for the student with the highest graduating GPA. Prior to law school, Phillip worked at an economic consulting firm performing quantitative analysis used in expert testimony.

A Roanoke native, Phillip graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Mathematics and Economics. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a nationally recognized honor society.
