Law Firms Integrate AI into Daily Practices
Woods Rogers’ Principal and Chair of our Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice Beth Waller is featured in an article published in the September issue of Virginia Business, focusing on law firms’ use of AI and how local attorneys are incorporating the technology into their work.
“Even as providers tout their AI tools’ capabilities, law firms must be discerning about whether applications address their needs, sufficiently protect client data, and adhere to professional ethical duties,” Beth told the publication in an interview.
Beth described Woods Rogers’ approach to AI, including the firm’s evaluation of several tools that can be customized to meet client needs. She predicts that a year from now, AI will play an even bigger role in daily business.
“We’re trying to balance innovation with responsibility,” she added. “We’re trying to be thoughtful about how we deploy tools that protect our secrets.”
