Elena supports medical professionals as they face professional licensing boards or litigation. Her experience drafting agreements, writing motions, and conducting research provides clients with professional, efficient service during stressful circumstances.

Before joining Woods Rogers, Elena practiced at Jackson Kelly PLLC, a civil defense firm. Additionally, she clerked for multiple judges and actively contributed to various legal and academic organizations, including the West Virginia Law Review, the Environmental Law Society, and the Health Law Society. She also served as an adjunct professor in West Virginia University’s Department of English.

Elena is deeply committed to her community and civic engagement. She is a member of the American Civil Liberties Union and the Women's Leadership Counsel.

Elena loves to travel, read, bake, rock climb, gardening, and many more outdoor activities.
