Woods Rogers attorneys and staff are wired for impact. We don’t just look to enter the community; we look to help lead. Our people are coaches, teachers, volunteers, and social contributors. We want to retain a connection to the community because this is exactly where we want to be.
Community Engagement
Giving back is part of the firm’s DNA. Through our time, leadership, and financial donations, we support a wide range of groups and organizations across our footprint. The organizations that benefit from our support are making significant contributions to our local communities in the areas of economic development, education, health and wellness, human and animal welfare, the arts, and social and cultural awareness.
Arts & Culture
By supporting museums, symphony orchestras, opera and dance companies, and performing arts venues, we endeavor to make the commonwealth an attractive hub for arts and culture.
Education & Social Services
In addition to our long-standing monetary commitment to the Legal Aid Society, we support organizations that provide vulnerable and at-risk populations with services to improve their quality of life and provide educational opportunities.
Economic Development
We strive to help maintain a healthy, expanding economy in our communities by providing funding, leadership, and membership in organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, startup incubators, and business advisory groups.
Health & Wellness
Our legal mission is closely entwined with our service to healthcare providers, so it follows that we should support numerous nonprofit organizations devoted to improving, enriching, and preserving the lives of people in our community.
Pro Bono Service
The firm’s pro bono efforts focus on supporting underserved or underrepresented populations in our communities. Recognizing these communities may be disproportionally impacted by economic, social, and political barriers, Woods Rogers attorneys and staff serve on nonprofit boards, provide pro bono legal services, and pledge financial support to organizations dedicated to ensuring justice, equity, and fair treatment for all. Our service takes many forms, but it is born of a shared value for giving back and making a difference. Click below to view recent examples.
