Dan Summerlin and Victor Cardwell Named to Virginia 500: The 2026-27 Power List

Woods Rogers is pleased to announce that President and Principal Dan Summerlin and Principal and Chairman Victor Cardwell have been named to the Virginia 500: The 2026-27 Power List by Virginia Business. They are recognized among Virginia’s most influential leaders in the legal profession.

The recognition reflects the leadership and vision that continue to strengthen Woods Rogers’ ability to serve clients across the Commonwealth and beyond. Under Dan’s leadership, the firm successfully completed its 2022 merger, launched its 2024 rebrand, and recently expanded into Northern Virginia with the opening of its Tysons office.

Victor’s inclusion highlights a career defined by service, leadership, and a commitment to advancing the legal profession. He made history as the first Black president of the Virginia Bar Association and was recently inducted into the Virginia Law Foundation’s Fellows Class of 2025.
