Jamie Wood Named the 2026 Young Lawyer of the Year

Recognition

Woods Rogers is pleased to announce that Jamie Wood has been selected as the Roanoke Bar Association’s 2026 Young Lawyer of the Year, an honor recognizing attorneys who demonstrate exceptional professional promise, community engagement, and integrity.

At the Roanoke Bar Association’s 101st Annual Meeting on June 9, attendees heard stories about Jamie’s upbringing, formative experiences, and the values that guide her practice. These reflections made clear that Jamie is not only a talented attorney but also a remarkable colleague whose character strengthens both our firm and the broader community.

Jamie joins a distinguished group of Woods Rogers attorneys who have previously received this recognition, including Patice Holland, Sarah Jessee, Brooke Rosen, Kristin Johnson, and Elizabeth Perrow. Their legacy of service and leadership continues through Jamie’s outstanding work.

A full list of past recipients is available on the Roanoke Bar Association’s website.
