Woods Rogers Secures Chambers USA Rankings Across Multiple Practices and Individual Honors
Woods Rogers announces its recognition by Chambers and Partners as a leader across several practice areas, including bankruptcy and restructuring, construction, labor and employment, litigation, and real estate. Additionally, 10 firm principals are honored individually for their excellence in legal outcomes and client service. Ranked in 2025 for the first time is Woods Rogers’ Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Chair, Elizabeth Burgin Waller (Band 5), who earns nationwide recognition for her work in Privacy & Data Security: Cybersecurity. A client told Chambers, “Beth has all the legal expertise to provide spot-on advice without the need for an extra round for clarification. If you want an issue solved, Beth is your 'fire and forget'.”
Woods Rogers’ Construction (Band 4) Practice debuted in the Virginia rankings, with Practice Chair James R. Harvey (Band 4) ranked individually. A client notes of the team, “The firm's lawyers are well-versed in handling a wide range of issues in this space.” William E. Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Chair Michael E. Hastings (Band 1) is honored individually with Chambers noting that he is “much admired for his bankruptcy practice, which includes advising debtors, creditors and trustees on Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.”
From Woods Rogers’ Labor & Employment Practice, Practice Co-Chair Anne G. Bibeau (Band 3) makes her first appearance in the ranking, and Victor O. Cardwell (Band 1), King F.
