Zach Agee Appointed to Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission
Woods Rogers is pleased to announce that Principal Zach Agee has been appointed to the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission (formerly known as the Tobacco Commission) by Governor Glenn Youngkin. Zach will serve a four-year term from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2029.
The Commission plays a key role in promoting economic development in Southern and Southwest Virginia. Through targeted grant programs and strategic investments, it helps attract new businesses, support workforce training, expand broadband access, and strengthen infrastructure across the region. Since its founding, the Commission has awarded more than a billion dollars in funding to revitalize communities historically dependent on tobacco farming.
Zach’s experience advising companies and civic organizations on strategic development projects positions him well to support the Commission’s mission. His appointment reflects both his commitment to regional growth and Woods Rogers’ continued involvement in shaping Virginia’s economic future.
