Sarah Jessee Named President‑Elect of the Roanoke Bar Association

Woods Rogers is pleased to announce that Sarah Jessee has been named president‑elect of the Roanoke Bar Association during its 101st Annual Meeting on June 9, 2026. This honor reflects Sarah’s longstanding commitment to the Roanoke legal community and continues the firm’s proud tradition of service to the Bar.

Sarah will serve as president‑elect over the coming year before assuming the role of president in 2027. Her leadership within the Roanoke Bar Association builds on years of dedicated involvement and exemplifies the values that guide her work at Woods Rogers. Sarah was also recognized as the Roanoke Bar Association’s Lawyer of the Year in 2022.

The Roanoke Bar Association plays a vital role in fostering collegiality, supporting professional development, and advancing meaningful dialogue on issues that shape the practice of law and the administration of justice. Sarah brings energy, integrity, and a collaborative spirit to everything she does, and we know she will continue to strengthen the Association through her service.
